Get started with Freightseeker for Shopify
After install, Settings walks you through five steps: connect Freightseeker, default package, sender address, which orders to send, and how the customer gets tracking email.
Step by step
- Install Freightseeker from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions.
- Open the app in Shopify and go to Settings. Enter your Freightseeker credentials (Client ID and Client Secret).
- Choose a default package (parcel, EUR pallet, half pallet, or custom pallet) with dimensions and weight. It is used when the order has no product dimensions.
- Set the correct sender address for each Shopify location. Otherwise the wrong company name may appear on the booking.
- Decide which orders should be sent automatically, and whether Shopify or Freightseeker should send the tracking email to the customer.
Good to know
- When setup is complete, under Send from Shopify Admin you can choose draft or book directly.
- The app is available in Swedish and English. Switch language in the app menu.
