Book and send from Shopify Admin
On an order in Shopify Admin (or several selected) you will find Send to Freightseeker under More actions. What happens is controlled under Settings - Send from Shopify Admin.
Step by step
- Choose Save as draft if you want to finish booking later in Freightseeker.
- Choose Book the shipment if you want to search rates and book directly in Shopify.
- Check sender and recipient. For deliveries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland the recipient address is checked before search and booking.
- Enter real packages, pickup date, choose a shipping option and any add-ons, then book.
- When booking succeeds, shipping documents often appear in the dialog. You can also open them under Freightseeker documents on the order.
Good to know
- This does not change what the customer sees at checkout - that choice is separate.
- An order that is already booked cannot be booked again, to avoid duplicates.
